F-104 Drag Chute Bay and Canister (for Kinetic F-104 kits)

This is a drag chute compartment with dropped chute canister for any Kinetic F-104 Starfighter kits (1:48). The parts are exquisitly detailed.

Supplied are both the empty, lowered canister with dropped retainer flap (for post-landing) as well as a canister stuffed with a packed chute and rased retainer flap. A cutout of the existing chute panel on the kit needs to be made, but apart from that the installation and assembly is very easy. There is not just the chute canister itself but a bay to go inside the fuselage plus detailed linkage arms. The bay has been tested for clearance with both the kit afterburner and resin aftermarket afterburner parts.

This is not a toy, suitable for modellers 14+ years old.
